Kavrepalanchowk, Dec 15 :  The District Child Club Network Kavrepalanchowk has elected a 13-member new executive committee chaired by Gandhiv Gautam. The committee was elected by the fifth district gathering of the network held on Saturday.

Subodh Dhimal is the vice-chair, Bhawani Dahal the secretary, Sabina BK the joint secretary and Subhadra Timilsina the treasurer. The gathering was inaugurated by Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota.

The gathering concluded with a declaration calling for making all levels of the state child-friendly, end to all kinds of violence against children, making Kavre free of child labour and child marriage, state patronage for orphans and children with disabilities, among others.
