Ranjha : A 47-year-old person from Bankegaun of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City in Banke district has died of coronovirus this morning. It has taken the toll of COVID-19 casualty in the district to 13.

 

The COVID-19 infected person died in course of treatment at Nepalgunj Teaching Hospital in Nepalgunj, according to District Health Office, Banke's Corona Resource Person, Naresh Shrestha.

 

The deceased was a chronic patient of pneumonia and diabetes. He was admitted to the Hospital on September 14 and tested positive for the flu-like infection on September 16. Thereafter, he was being treated at the isolation facility of the same hospital. Preparation was underway to manage the dead body.
